REGULATIONS
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open for all designers, illustrators, photographers, and artists 18 years of age or older anywhere in the world, whose use of posterstellars.com does not and will not violate any applicable law or regulation, or any agreement to which they are a party.
*Organizers and jurors are not eligible to participate in the competition.

*All competition fees are non-refundable.
NUMBER OF POSTERS
Each participant is allowed to submit 3 posters max per entry/fee across all categories. However, if you wish to participate with more than 3 posters, please submit a new entry and you will have to pay the entry fees again as indicated.
POSTERS TIME FRAME
All artworks must have been created between the years 2018 to 2021 time frame. The only parameter is that the Unpublished Posters for Category B must be created during the competition dates and unpublished before anywhere online and offline.
ACCEPTED POSTERS
Posters of any technique (painting, drawing, graphic design, typography, digital, Illustration, mixed media, photography, and animation) are eligible.
POSTERS SUBJECT MATTER
The posters which will be uploaded by you will not include material that is pornographic, sexually explicit, violent, and/or racist.

REQUIRED DIGITAL FILES
All entries, without exception, must be in a digital format with the following specifications:
CATEGORIES A & B

All entries must be in (1240 x 1754) pixels.

Horizontal and vertical orientations are accepted.

JPG format, RGB Color Mode, Resolution 150 dpi.

Max file size is 5MB per poster.

All 3 posters should not exceed 15MB.
CATEGORY C
-
All entries must be in (1920 x 1080) pixels.

Horizontal and vertical orientations are accepted.

Pixel aspect ratio 16:9

H.264, Frame rate 24-30, Duration 15-20 seconds.

No Audio, MP4 format.
-
Max file size is 25MB per animated poster.

PARTICIPATION
Please visit the participation page to fill the Participation form, pay the fee, and upload your digital files as instructed.

JURY PROCESS
Judging will be 'blind'. Individual scores from judges will be averaged to produce a single score for each entry. No names will be shown in judging to lead to the entrant and no names or other indicators are allowed on the artwork that could indicate who is the author of the poster.
SUBMISSIONS QUALITY
Image and animation quality is very important. This is the only exposure to your posters the jurors will have, and a poor representation (such as a blurred image, low resolution, corrupted videos) will reduce your chances of being selected.
JURY STAGES
The judging process will be conducted in two stages:
1- NATIONAL JURY - SEMI FINALE
The National Jury will be selecting posters for the final stage.
2- INTERCON JURY - FINALE
The Intercontinental Jury will be selecting the award-winning posters (Grand for Best of the Show) Gold, Silver, & Bronze from each category. Moreover, the Jury will select the Winners of each continent (AFRICA, ANTARCTICA, ASIA, AUSTRALIA, EUROPE, NORTH AMERICA, & SOUTH AMERICA).
JURORS
If for any reason an announced juror is unable to judge the entries, the entries will be judged by the remaining jurors and/or alternate jurors.
SELECTED ARTISTS
If your work is selected, you agree that you will follow all of Poster Stellars Competition procedures for promotion and exhibitions and that Poster Stellars has the exclusive right to revoke your participation if those instructions are not followed.
Results of the selected participants and winners will be emailed to all participating designers/artists and published on our website. The full timeline of the competition can be found on the timeline page:

CHANGES IN SCHEDULE
Poster Stellars reserves the right to change competition deadlines and dates due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

USAGE OF POSTERS
We will have the right to publish images of your selected poster/s by jurors on our website, social media, and other advertising channels to promote your work and the competition.
RETENTION OF POSTERS
By uploading your poster/s and personal data, you authorize us to retain the images and personal data of such uploaded information in our system until and after the conclusion of the competition. We are retaining these images and personal data on our website and social media to promote your work and for future competitions. We protect your personal data and we don't share it with any third parties. At any time, after the conclusion of the competition, you may send us an email at info@posterstellars.com requesting that we delete your data and images. We will confirm the receipt of the email and your images will be deleted within 10 business days after your receipt of our confirmation.
COPYRIGHTS
All of the poster/s that you will be submitting are images of original artwork created by yourself or are artworks created by a designer/illustrator/photographer/artist who authorized you to submit the images on his/her behalf. Images submitted by you do not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright, or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity. You may not post, distribute, or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights. Without limiting our rights, it is our policy to terminate all relations with any designer/artist/illustrator/photographer who infringes copyright upon our receipt of a notice of infringement from the copyright owner or the copyright owner's legal counsel.
If you believe your work has been copied and posted on our website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide us with the following information to our email: info@posterstellars.com

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
If you commence a lawsuit or other legal proceeding against Poster Stellars or any of Poster Stellars owners, curators, officers, employees, agents, representatives, partners, or affiliates in connection with and/or arising from any claim whatsoever relating to the competition and/or our relationship with you in any manner whatsoever; a) you hereby unconditionally consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of New Jersey, New Jersey County, b) New Jersey law shall apply for the adjudication of any such claim and c) Poster Stellars shall be entitled to recover from you all of its costs and expenses relating to any such proceeding including, without limitation, its attorneys' fees.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold Poster Stellars, its owners, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, representatives, and employees harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, relating to any claim made by any third party due to or arising out of your violation of any of the foregoing terms and conditions and/or any breach of your covenants, and representations set forth above.
