REGULATIONS
ELIGIBILITY
The competition is open to all designers, illustrators, photographers, and artists 18 years of age or older anywhere in the world, whose use of Poster Stellars does not and will not violate any applicable law or regulation, or any agreement to which they are a party.
*Poster Stellars team members and jurors are not eligible to participate in the competition.
*(Optional) The Jury members will donate 1 poster of their choice to be included in the Time Capsule 2022/2037 but they won't be competing in the contest.

*All competition fees are non-refundable.
NUMBER OF POSTERS
Each participant is allowed to submit 3 posters max per entry/fee across all categories. However, if you wish to participate with more than 3 posters, please submit a new entry and you will have to pay the entry fees again as indicated.
POSTERS TIME FRAME
All artworks/posters must have been created between the years 2019 to 2022 time frame. The only parameter is that the Unpublished Posters for Category B must be created during the competition dates and unpublished before anywhere online and offline.
ACCEPTED POSTERS
Posters of any technique (painting, drawing, graphic design, typography, data visualization, digital, Illustration, mixed media, photography, and animation) are eligible.
POSTERS SUBJECT MATTER
The posters which will be participated by you should not include material that is pornographic, sexually explicit, violent, and/or racist.

All entries, for the selection stage without exception, must be in a digital format with the following specifications:

All entries must be in (1240 x 1736) pixels.

Horizontal and Vertical orientations are accepted.

JPG format, RGB Color Mode, Resolution 150 dpi.

Max file size is 5MB per poster.

All 3 posters should not exceed 15MB.
*Please keep your high-resolution posters in the size of (50 x 70 centimeters) equivalent to (27 x 19 inches).
*If your poster/s won an award you will be requested to send it printed to be preserved in the TIME CAPSULE 2022/2037.

All entries must be in (1920 x 1080) pixels.

JURY PROCESS
Judging will be 'BLIND'. Individual scores from judges will be averaged to produce a single score for each entry. No names will be shown in judging to lead to the entrant and no names or other indicators are allowed on the artwork that could indicate who is the author of the poster.
SUBMISSIONS QUALITY
Image and animation quality is very important. This is the only exposure to your posters the jurors will have, and a poor representation (such as a blurred image, low resolution, corrupted video) will reduce your chances of being selected.
JURY STAGES
The judging process will be conducted in two stages:
1- NATIONAL JURY - SEMI FINALE
The National Jury will be selecting posters based on the digital submissions for the final stage.
2- INTERCON JURY - FINALE
TIME CAPSULE 2022/2037
The Intercontinental Jury will be selecting the award-winning posters to be included in the Time Capsule (Grand for Best of the Show) Gold, Silver, & Bronze from each category.
Moreover, the Jury will select the Winners of each continent (AFRICA, ANTARCTICA, ASIA, AUSTRALIA, EUROPE, NORTH AMERICA, & SOUTH AMERICA).
TIME CAPSULE
2022/2037

All winning posters "Grand, Gold, Silver, and Bronze" from all categories will be securely stored in a Stainless Steel Capsule that will be buried in the ground for 15 years and will be opened again in 2037.

The Time Capsule is Anti-Corrosion. The actual Stainless Steel can withstand most exterior conditions and lasts up to 200 years lifespan. The Time Capsule is Waterproof. Silicone gaskets at both ends make the capsule seal secure, the accompanying bolts will be tightened to keep all moisture out.

Each jury member will donate 1 poster of their own choice to be included in the Time Capsule.

All winners' and Jury members' names will be engraved on a monument stone/s that will be covering the burial location of the Time Capsule

A ceremony for the Time Capsule event will be streamed online and the coordinates of the location will be posted on our website.

The Time Capsule location will be in the private property of Poster Stellars to avoid any vandalism and to perform maintenance when needed.

Visits to the location will be allowed after coordinating with Poster Stellars Team members only. All visits should be arranged ahead of time. Poster Stellars Team Members have the full right to reschedule/postpone/cancel any visit due to weather conditions or any other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
SENDING YOUR PHYSICAL POSTERS FOR THE
TIME CAPSULE 2022/2037
If your poster/s win an award, you are requested to send us your printed poster/s in the following measurements:

Horizontal and Vertical orientations are accepted.

Animated Posters will be uploaded on a USB drive and included in the Time Capsule.

Instructions for sending your winning posters will be provided once the competition results are finalized.
JURORS
If for any reason an announced juror is unable to judge the entries, the entries will be judged by the remaining jurors and/or alternate jurors.
SELECTED PARTICIPANTS
If your work is selected/won an award you agree that you will follow all of Poster Stellars Competition procedures for the Time capsule event, promotion, and any exhibitions now and in the future. Poster Stellars has the exclusive right to revoke your participation if those instructions are not followed.
Results of the selected finalists/winners will be emailed to selected/winning designers/artists only and published on our website. Please include the following email in your contact list info@posterstellars.com to prevent our emails from being flagged as Spam.

USAGE OF POSTERS
We will have the right to publish/print/store images of your selected/winning poster/s to be included in the Time Capsule, Website, Social Media, and other advertising channels to promote your work and the competition.
All winning printed/animated posters that will be sent to be stored in the Time Capsule will be the property of Poster Stellars LLC.
RETENTION OF POSTERS
By uploading your poster/s and personal data, you authorize us to retain and publish the images and personal data of such uploaded information in our system and the time capsule until and after the conclusion of the competition. We are retaining these images and personal data on our website and social media to promote your work and for future competitions/exhibitions/events. We protect your personal data and we don't share it with any third parties.
COPYRIGHTS
All of the poster/s that you will be submitting are images of original artwork created by yourself or are artworks created by a designer/illustrator/photographer/artist who authorized you to submit the images on their behalf. Images submitted by you do not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyright, or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity. You may not post, distribute, or reproduce in any way any copyrighted material, trademarks, or other proprietary information without obtaining the prior written consent of the owner of such proprietary rights. Without limiting our rights, it is our policy to terminate all relations with any designer/artist/illustrator/photographer who infringes copyright upon our receipt of a notice of infringement from the copyright owner or the copyright owner's legal counsel.
If you believe your work has been copied and posted on our website in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please provide us with the following information to our email: info@posterstellars.com

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
If you commence a lawsuit or other legal proceeding against Poster Stellars or any of Poster Stellars owners, curators, officers, employees, agents, representatives, partners, or affiliates in connection with and/or arising from any claim whatsoever relating to the competition and/or our relationship with you in any manner whatsoever; a) you hereby unconditionally consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in the State of New Jersey, New Jersey County, b) New Jersey law shall apply for the adjudication of any such claim and c) Poster Stellars shall be entitled to recover from you all of its costs and expenses relating to any such proceeding including, without limitation, its attorneys' fees.
INDEMNITY
You agree to indemnify and hold Poster Stellars, its owners, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, agents, representatives, and employees harmless from any loss, liability, claim, or demand, including reasonable attorneys' fees, relating to any claim made by any third party due to or arising out of your violation of any of the foregoing terms and conditions and/or any breach of your covenants, and representations set forth above.
